Kessler + Co is a leading manufacturer of drive components for heavy mobile equipment.  They develop and produce planetary axles, wheel drives, and gearboxes for a variety of different applications including construction equipment, mobile cranes, material handling equipment and mining vehicles.

HERS is the official Kessler agent for the service and sales activities of spare parts in the SADC region.  Our technicians have received training directly from Kessler.

We design, manufacture, refurbish and repair a range of Hydraulic Cylinders for customers in the following markets:

Design is done using a computerised design and modelling system. 
All components are machined according to international ISO tolerance tables.

Our World Class Workshops

Our Drive Train workshop is housed in a 1800 sq.m factory having a dedicated stripping bay and ten work bays, most of which are serviced by overhead cranes.  There are also two testing bays consisting of an axle test bench where tests are carried out on completed repairs and two dynamometer test benches which allow for in house testing of transmissions.

We have a well equipped workshop equipped with the finest machining tools and test benches to build hydraulic cylinders to customer specifications and refurbish components to OEM specifications.

We have two main areas of focus – Off-highway Drive Trains and all Hydraulic Cylinders.  We also service and repair drifters, as well as impact breakers.  We service customers across Southern Africa from our well-equipped workshop in Gauteng, South Africa.
